The developers at Hollywood Community Housing Corp state, “The building height of 5 storeys achieves the intent of the neighbourhood plan and zone requirements. The development would be a great opportunity for low and medium income groups in surrounding areas.’’ “Given the site is bounded by road and adjacent Major centre zoning on its low side (to the south) and Medium density residential zoned land on its high side (to the north), the proposed building height is able to sensibly address the local context while managing amenity impacts through building design”.
