East End Production Studio Campus – South Alameda Street, Los Angeles

A development application has been lodged for a Conditional Use Permit for a Major Development Project, located at 1206-1338 East 6th Street and 640 South Alameda Street, Los Angeles. The major development project is for a new state-of-the-art production studio campus, providing 16 soundstage-production studios, 4 office structures, a five-story parking garage, and some surface parking and loading areas.

The aim of the project is to reinvigorate the area by creating new opportunities for the motion picture industry to grow. The site fronts Alameda Street, 6th Street and Mill Street, which contains two large storage and distribution warehouse buildings (2,87,376 square feet) that will be demolished to facilitate the redevelopment.
