A development application has been lodged to redevelop an existing cold storage warehouse into the Boyle Heights Production Studios and associated office space, located at 2233-2251 Jesse Street and 634 South Mission Road, Los Angeles.

Designed by Relativity Architects, the proposal proposes to change the existing two-story structure used as a warehouse (cold storage) and ancillary office use, into studios with stages. The proposal has also incorporated parking spaces with the development. The site has frontages to Whittier Blvd, Jesse Street and Mission Road.

  • 380 car parking spaces;
  • 376 bike parking spaces.

The proposal has 380 car parking spaces comprising 368 as stacking spaces, 4 as standard and 8 as accessible spaces. The proposal also has 32 clean air vehicle parking spaces, 32 electrical vehicle parking spaces along with 24 short term and 32 long term bicycle parking spaces. The proposal also has 376 bike parking spaces.

Access to the backstage and pedestrian access is obtained from Jesse Street and other car parking access is obtained from Mission Road.
